ENGINEERING PROJECTS
1. Handling mainly structural works (Typical floors - 20 Storeys) with approved checklist for reinforcement and design mixes as per the GFC drawings.
2. Making sure that the contractor submits compliance certificate for each batch of steel reinforcement used at site for any activity.
3. Checking the bending dimensions frequently for both high tensile and mild steel that are performed manually as per the cover requirements.
4. Carrying out compression tests for concrete cubes, brick tests and aggregate tests on regular basis as per the quality requirements.
5. Generating daily progress report and cross checking daily labour report for an efficient working at site.
6. Having ability to detect any kind of structural and finishing related flaws for quality construction or any physical depreciation.

An Expressway is a highway especially planned for high speed traffic, usually having few intersections if any, limited points of access or exit, and a divider between lanes for traffic moving in opposite directions. It can also be called limited-access highway.
Expressways are the highest class of roads in the Indian road network. They are four, six or eight-lane controlled-access highways. Coming to the basic difference between highways and expressways :
• A highway is a generic term given to roadways that are used to connect important cities, and usually have two or four lanes to provide for high speed traffic.
• An expressway is a high speed road with partial access and extra facilities like access ramps and lane dividers. It may or may not be part of a highway.

uAn intersection where all roadway join or cross at same level is known as grade intersection. Rotary intersections or round about are special form of at-grade intersections laid out for the movement of traffic in one direction around a central traffic island. The vehicles entering the rotary are gently forced to move in a clockwise direction in orderly fashion. They then weave out of the rotary to the desired direction. In this given figure shown the elements of rotary design.
